Hello, my name is Nicole McLaughlin but you can call me Nico. I originate from a small mining town called Coatbridge but I’ll say Glasgow to sound spicy. I am an illustrator and printmaker who currently works in Flux Laser Studio as a Studio Technician.

My style is playful, quirky with bold lines, a strict palette, and loose forms. My work is heavily inspired by storytelling with elements of humour throughout. When I’m not working my regular job, you’ll find me creating illustrations for my personal shop - Nico Paws.  I am inspired mostly by wonderful women and my unhealthy obsession with cats but don’t worry I won’t push this on you … unless you want me to draw you then that's just worked out perfectly!

I have experience working for editorial, merchandise, branding, packaging, gift sets, stationary, advertising, content design and service design.
